Who we are?

Skentele theatrical xperiment are Performing Arts Activators. It was formed under the Afrikan vibrations project in 2012 as a theatre group that focuses on being a major medium of conveying information to humanity through music, dance, drama, visual arts and so on. In some cases, we are the mouth piece of a people addressing major societal issues.

WER WIR SIND Hinter SKENTELE THEATRICAL XPERIMENT stehen Aktivatoren der darstellenden Künste. Es wurde unter Afrikan vibrations project im Jahr 2012 als eine Theatergruppe gegründet, die sich darauf konzentriert ein Hauptmedium zur Vermittlung von Information an die Menschheit zu sein – über Musik, Tanz, Schauspiel, bildenden Künste usw. . In manchen Fällen sind wir das Mundstück eines Volkes, das die gesellschaftlichen Hauptanliegen ausspricht.

THE LAMPEDUZANS
True story of migrant’s life in Europe
A tragedy of humanity, And hopes of the living.

This performance was inspired by The Lampedusa Massacre Oct 2013. written and produced by Macaulay Larry Abiodun and to be performed by skentele theatrical xperiment. The Choreopoem-theatre piece chronicles incidents and issues which happened in recent history in Africa and Europe. The play begins with an intro titled ‘’Lost voices- the living dead a tribute to the lost at sea and many more.

“The Lampeduzans” thematisiert die Lebensgeschichte der in Europa lebenden Migranten. Im Mittelpunkt der Geschichte steht Sunday, ein Migrant aus Subsahara-Afrika, der sich in dem fremden Land der Oíbo, der lebenden Toten, wiederfindet: Ohne Leben und mit einer düsteren Zukunft, mit der Garantie, irgendwie von einer unsicheren Spur von Ereignissen ergriffen zu werden. As a group we are dedicated to the sustenance of the performing arts and its growth to the betterment of humanity. * Generate, analyze, and share knowledge on participatory development approaches, especially Drama for Awareness (DA), Talent Discovery (TD), Theatre for development, and Participatory Learning and Action exhibition. * Encourage cross-fertilisation of ideas on DFA, TD, TFD, and PLA by engaging in networking and exchange activities with institutions/ organisations/ individuals across the world.

UNSERE ZIELE * Als Gruppe engagieren wir uns für das Fortbestehen der darstellenden Künste und ihre Entwicklung zur Verbesserung der Menschheit. * Das Bilden, Analysieren und Teilen von Wissen über mitbestimmte Entwicklungsansätze, vor allem das Theater des Bewusstseins (TB), die Talent-Entdeckung (TE), das Theater für Entwicklung (TFE) und Mitbestimmtes Lernen und Aktionsausstellung (MLA). * Fördern von Kreuzbefruchtungen der Ideen in TB, TE, TFD und MLA durch das Einschalten in Netzwerke und Austauschaktivitäten mit institutionen/Organisationen/Einzelnen weltweit.
